HYBRID CORE TECHNOLOGY
MOOG®‘s patented Hybrid Core technology includes a carbon fibre-reinforced bearing and induction heat-treated ball stud for enhanced durability and longer lifespan in control arms, ball joints, tie rod ends and axial rods. This induction hardening provides a fivefold increase in surface hardness and can double the strength of studs.
With the new design also reducing increase in radial deflection during service life, a precise steering feel and controlled suspension movement is also maintained.
